Nordmark Designs’ handcrafted jewelry is inspired by the artistry of the indigenous Sami people of northern Scandinavia. Owner Pamela was drawn to explore her own Scandinavian ancestry and began to research the Sami people’s traditional leathercraft. Nomadic reindeer herders, the Sami people used available resources to craft simple, beautiful jewelry out of reindeer hide, antlers and spun pewter wire. Nordmark takes the same materials, techniques, and craftsmanship to make simple yet beautiful jewelry that you can wear every day.
