Living in Door County, with all its flora and fauna, is my inspiration. Protecting our natural environment is very important to me. After attending Colorado State University and working as an advertising art director, I changed course to become a land steward, environmental science teacher, and art teacher. Today I bring art and nature together in my creative work and teaching. Crafting can be a healing and calming process. Sharing finished products, the creative steps along the way and conversations with one another are all part of what I love about bringing people together through art.
